Where can one rent a scooter/bike under 50cc?

I've heard that you need an A1 license for anything 50cc and above, but if you rent something that's even 49.9cc, you don't need a special license (just a car license). Can anyone verify this and does anyone know where I could rent a 49cc?

Many thanks, everyone.
