being in holidays and scratching the car

Hi there,
I am in holidays right now in Germany. While getting in the underground parking at the hotel, during wrong maneouvres i got a scratch on one side of the car.
I do have full CASCO insurance and the car is co-owned with the bank from where i got the loan to buy it.

So far, i didnt inform anyone: insurance company, the hotel or any authorities.

What do i have to do, because this is my first time in my life facing such issue?
Thanks for any reply,

Re: being in holidays and scratching the car

We gouged out a massive dent of our car in France a couple of years ago. It was a week into our two week holiday and, as the car was still drive-able, we decided not to get it repaired until we returned to Switzerland.

All we did was call the insurance hotline (in our case, Zurich Insurance) and they told us we could sort it out when we got back.

Everything was repaired and resolved really easily.

If I were you, I'd just put in a call to your insurance and ask for guidance. This is assuming you didn't cause any damage to anything else (the hotel wall or surrounding cars, in which case you would need to report it to the hotel).

Re: being in holidays and scratching the car

thank you very much for your answer.
There were no damages to the wall or cars, btw, the corner were I scratched the car is having a lot of traces of diffrent collors from other cars which hitted the same spot. The entrabce is so narrow that one has to pay very much attention to any mannoeuvre.
Thanks,
