Cancelling GA

currently I have GA paid monthly. It costs +- same as monthly ticket Lausanne-Geneva, and I have free travelling all over this place, which is great. I like the idea that I can cancel it anytime. But it is slightly more expensive than regular yearly one.
So here is question - how does it work with yearly GA? You pay once, and there is no way you can cancel it with getting partial money back? Something like half-fare, where they paid me proportional amount when switching to GA...
Thanx for any hints

Re: Cancelling GA

An annual GA costs circa CHF10 a day and can be cancelled ( on a sliding scale ) at any time after the first 4 months.

Depositing your GA travelcard.
If you don't need your GA travelcard for at least seven consecutive days, you can deposit it at a ticket counter for a maximum total of 30 days during its period of validity. We charge a fee of CHF 10 for each deposit period. We will issue you with an SBB receipt as a temporary replacement for your GA travelcard valid up to three days prior to the official date of deposit and three days after the official date of retrieval.
Cancelling your GA travelcard.
You may cancel your GA travelcard 4 months after its first day of validity. To cancel, please send your original travelcard and any replacement travelcards by registered mail to: SBB Contact Center, GA-Service-Center, P.O. Box, 3900 Brig.
The cancellation will be effective from of the date of the postmark on the registered letter.
Refunding your GA travelcard.
If you no longer require your annual GA travelcard, you can return it. There is a charge of 23 percent of the purchase price for the first month of validity and seven percent for any additional month.
