Incorrect ticket/fine

I bought an incorrect ticket on the train and got a fine. I got a slip with the fee price on it while on the train. But do not understand if I am to wait for a letter in the mail to pay it or do I go somewhere to pay the fine?

Just a pink/blue slip: Resise ohne gultigen Fahrausweis, it says. I just noticed there is an e-mail address at the bottom. :P

Re: Incorrect ticket/fine

If you gave a correct address, a payment slip ( Orange coloured ) will arrive in 7 days. You can email to them in the mean time to have it reduced, stating the merits. We have several threads on that.

Re: Incorrect ticket/fine

You will get a bill for it shortly.

If you want to challenge it, drop them an email soonest. In English is fine if you can't write in German.

A friend did this and got her fine reduced to half of what they originally requested.

Good luck!
