When I was a kid the Jukes of Hazzard had a more impressive ride.

Times change I suppose.

Well, it's certainly better looking than the Nissan Puke.

Spelt differently, but pronounced ya ya's (at least in our house).

Jaja is polska slang for balls

Made me snigger anyway...

It's a slow day at the office.

Re: Nissan Juke?

Slow day all round, judging by these comments. Can we get back to the topic please? Have you driven a Nissan Juke and what did you think of it. Give the OP something more to work with than one relevant feedback and a lot of innane comments.

True. But he still might like a few more answers that actually relate to his question.

In other words, we've deviated enough - back to the subject.

Re: Nissan Juke?

I also had one as a hire car, I actually made a bee line for the Juke as I was dying to drive one. Overall it was fine, handled very much like a car and the sat nav and reverse camera was very useful. Build quality was on par with most Japanese cars e.g. well put together but a little cheap and tinny. However what was not forgivable was the tiny boot with a high shelf. It meant having to put one of our two suitcases + pushchair on the back seat. Just for comparison my lil 1-series carried both suitcases + pushchair in its boot.

To be honest with you, now that I've tried it I think the whole compact/mini SUV category is pretty pointless. Either get one of the smaller SUVs (Tiguan, Q5, X3 etc..) or an estate.

Re: Nissan Juke?

Here y'are Grynchie - saw one of these today - forgot about them as they're less common (read Essex) than the Juke box.

This could be more up your street - a bit more macho, and certainly less girlie - and about same size and price range.

Yeah, women do - which is why I wrote that practically everyone I've seen has been driven by one. As long as it's the right colour, they don't worry about much else.

Actually we do. My first priority is reliability. I don't want a car with "character"; that usually means they're constantly breaking down. No thanks. Colour comes a long way down the list for me.
