Re: Nissan Juke?

Funny you should mention this - for quite a while I've been thinking of starting a thread along the lines of:

"Is the Juke the new Vitara?"

Effectively - has this taken over as the new hairdresser car - the Suzuki Vitara being the undisputed King (Queen) for many years?

However, I now see many Jukes on the road being driven by 30- and 40- something women, with big, perfect hair and plenty of slap.

What do others think?

The Nissan Juke is a car that looks good in the dark.

Re: Nissan Juke?

Got "upgraded" to a Nissan Juke recently renting a car in the UK - was initially a bit disappointed as it really is not the prettiest thing to look at but having driven it for a weekend it was quick, fun/sporty to drive, economical, seemed well screwed together and had *loads* of kit - reversing camera, switchable engine management settings for economy, sport etc. Very small boot was the main downside (apart from the looks).

Re: Nissan Juke?

My youngest asked me why it's called the Nissan Puke..

It wasn't my idea to invent education for girls.

Me, I like the look of 'em, and I'm a bit of a fan for most things Nissan or Toyota when it comes to spending my own hard earned.

Re: Nissan Juke?

I'd have thought you were more of a cube man - image wise.

But if you want to get in touch with your feminine side (and don't mind the odd snigger here and there), then Juke may be for you.

Although you always struck me as more angular, with a snub nose.

Re: Nissan Juke?

You're right - I was often mistaken as having three, but then I had an accident in one of these, and was back to two - a bit cutting edge, though.

About right - although the one in the pic. is a P reg, so that was first registered in '76.

It (the model) was Princess Anne's personal car was she was a single "playgirl".
