Storing extra set of car tyres

Hi EF friends,

I recently bought a car (already fitted with wheels with winter tyres) and was provided the set of wheels with summer tyres for it. The problem is that I have no space anywhere to put them. Do you know if there are garages that can store the extra set of wheels without you having had to do the wheel change with them beforehand?

Thanks for your responses!

Best regards!

Does anyone know how long you can store summer tyres without using them? Do they go bad if you don't use them for two years? I think I heard somewhere that the rubber hardens or something like that...

look up guides on how to store tyres and how to tell when they were made and by when the tyres will be less "good".

Re: Storing extra set of car tyres

You can normally have your set of tyres stored in your dealers garage for a price. The pricing is per season.
