Logistics for selling a car with exchangable license plates

Hi,

I have two cars with exchangable license plates. How do I sell one car and deliver it to another canton?

Is it true, that I can deregister the car only in the Strassenverkehrsamt in Zurich (I live in Adliswil in canton ZH)?
Is it true that the moment I deregister the car, it becomes illegal to drive it, because insurance is cancelled?
If the buyer does not have license plates and asks me to deliver the car to his canton (SZ), is the only option to drive my car to him, take the papers back to the Strassenverkehrsamt in ZH, send the papers back to the buyer somehow?

Also, is it required to sign the contract with the buyer?

Thanks in advance

You should drive the car to the strassenverkhsamt in SZ, let him register the car & they will tell ZH. Does not need to be cancelled, if thee was a problem you give in your plates & get new ones, it's only a problem if you don't have the plates.
