Installation of Parking Sensors.

I got a new nissan juke and wanted to add the option for rear and front parking sensors.
Here the garage charges quite a bit.

But the actual cost of the device is not more than 50 CHF and installation also seems to be easy. You can see the following video:-

Did anyone try to buy these devices and tried to install by himself?
Appreciate any feedback, or if anyone can do this installation for a reasonable price, the information will be appreciated.

I fitted some on my old BMW, took about 30 minutes to drill 4 holes & crimp a wire or the reversing light plus a ground connection.

Re: Installation of Parking Sensors.

Rear parking sensors are easy, as FMFilms, describes. Front ones require you to add a switch on to your dashboard somewhere.

Just strap a couple of cats to each bumper - when you hear screeching, you're too close.

Easy and cheap (free) to fit and replace, when required.

Re: Installation of Parking Sensors.

As others have said installing rear park sensors is really easy. My OH fitted them on my car really quickly, he thought it would be an advantage for me when parking if I had them. Ironically he is the only person to have actually reversed into anything in the car.
