Car driving lessons, theory test in English?

Hi everyone,

I am going to take car driving lessons this Summer. Now I would spend some time on the theory part first. This is exactly where I might have problem as my German is not that good. I mentioned this to the driving teacher and he said I might by able to do the theory test in English, although he's not 100% sure.

Does anyone have some insight into this? I would really appreciate to hear from you. Thanks a lot.
