My dogs need a car....

I'm looking to buy a second car dedicated as my dog car. Used for walking trips when they can jump in filthy and wet and shake , you know what I mean.
I want to buy a small 4x4 , 2 seats good enough. Like a Suzuki Jimny or equivalent. Anybody selling similar? Is there a car place specialising in 4x4's anywhere near Zurich?
ta!

What about an old 'postie' Panda - you may be able to pick up one direct from Die Post, cheapish, although I suspect that they have deals with second hand sellers - one I know, nearby, often seems to have them.

Afterthought: I think the majority of postie Pandas (and Kangoos) are right hookers - explains why I've seen them, cheapish.

Re: My dogs need a car....

Hear's my old thread from when I was searching for a new 'Muttmobile' four years ago:

Fiat Panda - Experience?

My choice was limited because I needed an automatic or semi-automatic. If I could figure out what that clutch thingy is for, I'd have had many more possibilities in a 4x4, and better prices.

I couldn't convince the Fiat dealer that it was worth their time to arrange a test drive for a Panda, the only reason I struck that one off my list.

In the end I bought a Daihatsu Sirion, which is more or less a downscale Suburu Justy.

As a Muttmobile, it's fine. No frills - and certainly no thrills - it's pretty much just a box on wheels. Stable enough, comfortable enough, but not a car I'd want to drive long distances in. But it cleans up easily. Sirions are going pretty cheap in the used car market these days because Daihatsu is no longer bringing them into Switzerland due to the expensive CHF/Yen. Take a gander at Autoscout.

You can fit two shelties, one rough collie, and a poodle in the Sirion, no problem. As long as they are all good friends.

........ and hopefully still have space for one of these - especially on wet days:
