There can be only one folks.
Zastava Koral Yugo 45A.
4 seats, 2 doors, 903cc and 45 horse power, From optional equipment it included automatic door lights, removalable ashtray, heated back window (for those cold mornings when you need to push-start it), owners manual (which included the city map of all public transport buses timetable), you would double its value at any given time once you fill up the fuel tank, it had a compact design to fit 5 people, one to drive it and 4 to push it. The great thing about Yugo drivers - they all will go to heaven one day. Because they've already been to hell.

I take it your neighbours are tolerant of early morning "throat clearing" | This user would like to thank dodgyken for this useful post:

1962 Chevy Bel Air 2 door. My 1st car. Went everywhere in all weather. Always started, no matter how cold. No power anything. Had the big block 6 cylinder engine with 3 speed manual transmission. Could change all the spark plugs with an open end wrench (spanner). Huge engine compartment with nothing in it but the engine.
Turquoise Blue. Looked either blue or green depending on the light. Very cool for the day!
More actual metal in her than the last 4 cars I've owned combined. A real beast. Here's to her! | This user would like to thank Tacitus for this useful post:

yes, fuel is in the 16-18l/100 easily if you drive it the way it was meant to be driven and around 12-14L on Autobahn (up to certain speed )
thank God this is not my daily driver....it is a longer trip/weekend ride rather than car I use to commute. The daily driver is a Mazda CX5 2.2d which is quite some car for the money.
Fuel figures dont bother me....sounds makes up for it as well as for the crappy stereo. On top of it I get a comforable car for the better half and my daughter...throat clearing has so far only made neighbours smile and admire...but....i have pretty cool neighbours |

I love my little mini cooper sport-it's fun, easy to get around in, love the gas milage and easy to park. I also own a Mercedes and for a night ride it takes the cake for me.

Fully agree. I've driven that car for about 3 years in my early 20'ies. Good old years... | Quote: | | | | | Opel/Vauxhall Astra Coupe 2 litre Turbo.

My favourite was the blue one I had about 20 years ago.
Have also tried green and white units.
Never yet had a red so that's an exciting new experience awaiting | This user would like to thank ratbag for this useful post:

My ex-Police Cavalier 4x4 had that motor (C20 LET red top motor, Cosast head), special ECU, Cosworth designed the head, and manufactured a few (Coscast versions) with revised ports that could take >1 bar boost without going porous. Was my daily driver for 5 years. Wanted to bring it here, but everyone told me it would never pass an MFK, 170k miles, UK headlights, oil leaks, RHD, Police speedo, konis, big bore scorpion exhaust, etc. Sold it on ebay. Got £1050 for it, with a brand new Astra spec later head gasket ready to be fitted, and a used transfer box (it had reverted its self to 2wd). Think the buyer scrapped it for parts despite me telling him it was a keeper and fixer.
What could I get for that money these days??? Oh err.... Maybe a bit of change this one! http://www.autoscout24.ch/de/d/opel-...1866&vehtyp=10
Nearly 40mpg and cheap Opel parts.... Hmmmm. http://www.autoscout24.ch/de/d/opel-...7607&vehtyp=10
The blue one looks so so much better than my beat up old white Cavalier did. MMMmmm. Those must be the boy racer bargains of the decade right now. Is there anything else I should be looking at in the Sub 2K chf, best car of all time category?
Maybe a black Cabrio version with Navi and leather, but that is pushing 3K chf... http://www.autoscout24.ch/de/d/opel-...6357&vehtyp=10
Plus SBD motorsports seem to be even better now looking at ther range of parts for that motor...

A former colleague had one and for 2 years it demonstated Fiat/Citroen/Rover levels of reliability.
