Airport -> city -> Uster public transport ticket costs

Hey there

I have to go to the Airport (zone 121), to uster ( zone 131 ), pick somethin gup and go to the city (zone 110) and to the airport on the next day.

Is it possible to buy one "day ticket" to cover this travel and if yes how to check online how much that costs.

Or rather in this case:

www.zvv.ch

You will need 5 zones for this (Zurich city zone counts double), a day pass will cost CHF 21.20 or CHF 10.60 with a Halbtax.

Actually no - day tickets are for a day, not 24 hours, so unless by "next day" you mean just after midnight a day ticket would not cover this.

This is not correct. ZVV day tickets are valid for 24 hours.

Thanks, I never knew that as I normally get a 9am one (which is only valid for that day).

Does the same apply to SBB? Their site doesn't seem to say.

How do you find prices for rides on zvv.ch? this was easy on the old layout. The new layout is not intuitive at all.

Re: Airport -> city -> Uster public transport ticket costs

For ordinary tickets I don't think you can - it just redirects you to the SBB site for those options on the "Ticketshop" page.

It only seems to give prices for multi-tickets and monthly/yearly passes.

A bit of a "work in progress" from what I can see; English support is pretty random as well.

You can buy the 24 hours ticket directly at the train station and the costs are that wrote by CH_Greg (I was living in Uster )
