Best place to get new tyres near basel

Hi,

I've attempted to search but can't find any advice on where is best around basel (or over the border) to get tyres from. We think we've a slow puncture in one of ours.

Thanks in advance, any help needed.

Roz

Cheap tyres: Reifen Direkt and then get them fitted locally (this has been covered a hundred times of here

Slow puncture: a number of options - dodgy valve, small puncture, poor sealing on the rim.

Depending on the age of the tyre I'd be tempted to use a "can of gunk"** and see if that resolves the problem

**You can buy in pretty much any Jumbo/Obi/Coop B&H - you inflate the tyre with it and it will, in theory, seal any small holes.

Check that it isn't a nail or something like that, in which case you could get away with a repair. I had a tyre repaired at Adam Touring and it was something like CHF 40

Best place.........the garage where you bought and have the car serviced

Cheapest place, probably Reifen Direkt

Are you mixing up "Best" and "Cheapest"................

Thanks all, we got it at a place an hours drive away so not really an option. I've seen the posts for online, just wanted to know if there was an actual garage people recommended as online would take a few days.
Might get hubby to try the gunk route and see how we go.

Just go to any tyre place in germany and ask them to check... atu, euro master, frank, wolf etc... the list is endless.
