80% of 2016 CFF/SBB timetable changes in Swiss Romande area

The new 2016 CFF/SBB timetable starts on December 13th, 2015.

According to the CFF, 80% of the timetable in the Swiss French area will be changing due to the major works program that will start in 2016.

The changes will involve both times and platforms (voie/quai).

For the trains to/from Zurich - Swiss French area, there will be changes to the platforms as the trains will now use the new underground train station.

Thanks for the info! I'm looking forward to seeing & using the new underground station in Zurich, it's really going to impact travel time.

Funnily enough, it changes virtually nothing in and out of Fribourg, except for more regular trains on some local routes.
