Find it somewhat curious that newbie L. has never come back to really say what exactly is desired for a family car. Just the same I'd like to provide the following link to some possibilities. Except for the crown vic it should be possible to obtain any of these great values in the CH.

https://www.thrillist.com/cars/natio...sale-right-now
Please stop posting US sites which have no relevance in Switzerland. Of the 5 cars:
1) 330ci - is a couple (or convertible) - and not ideally suited to a family. The 330i estate is a pretty good car - but finding one with fresh MFK and decent service history won't be easy

2) Crown Vic - DOH!!

3) Volvo 850R - not a chance of decent one for 3k CHF. High KM ones are now 6k+ and are following the 850 T5-R in going up in value.

4) Landcruiser - not a chance of decent one for 3k CHF. You're looking at 10k for something well maintained - and you'll want that. When something fails it costs to get it fixed. Big 4wds are notoriously tricky to get through an MFK. (I know a Landcruiser collector)

5) Audi A6 - this is the only one where you stand a chance of getting close to 3k - but again I'd be looking at 5k for a decent one with MFK. Just avoid the 2.7T engine - it is excessively thirsty (worse than the 4.2) and is slower

Hi there,
We leave in Zurich city are slowly getting ready to replace our "mobility membership" with a family car (dragging a car seat and a pram is getting more and more annoying).

What car models are the most suitable for a family? The main criteria are trunk space, efficiency, easy to park. We have no preferences in models.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!
L.
Bentley Bentayga is a good choice.
