Am I alone in thinking that this new SBB app, which they seem to be pushing on you is complete rubbish? In my second attempt to use it today, I failed to buy a ticket. All I can see are a few pre-selected tickets that bear no resemblance to where I actually want to go. Can't see any way of selecting my required ticket. The old app seemed simple and this makes the most basic task nearly impossible. Also, how can I complain about this to SBB?f

I'm favourably impressed with the app. It's easy and quite intuitive to use. It's worth spending a bit of time to customize the stations and stops you use most, but after that it's really quick and easy to use.
I like the feature that works out your location and suggests the most appropriate ticket, except that where I live is on the VD-GE border and as I'm in VD the guys who did the app in Bern think that the most appropriate ticket is a Mobilis ticket for VD, when in reality my centre of activity is Geneva (and I suspect the majority of users where I live) and I need Unireso tickets (we're in both the VD and GE transport zones). However that's a minor point.

I've tried to use it 10 times now and so far it's only given me a result once - most of the time I just get an error. Basically, as with most things consumer tech these days, too much form, not enough function.
Quite frankly you're better off using the old printed timetable booklets.

The programmers need to check out the Deutsche Bahn app (DB Navigator). It is phenomenal. Their website is equally good. I like the way they ask you to confirm every step. It takes a little longer, but you always get exactly what you want.
SBB has a long way to go.

Seems ok to me?
Select where you want to go using the Touch Timetable, select your train and pay. For big more exspensive trips I still prefer to go into the office to find the cheapest ticket! I wish they had a photo of all the staions, my one Bülach is just grey
