Garage needed! [repair, Lausanne]

Hello, just wandreing if anyone in Lausanne could tell me of a good garage to help sort out my car toget the Suiss plates, little concerened as i don't speak French and i need it to be done ASAP.
Lights will need to be changed etc.. also some one told me that the garage will actually take it to (where ever) to get the plates sorted is this true???
Thanks, worried and stressed.

Knowing the car is a great help, means I won't send you to a BMW garage....

Start with the Jeep garages

They will have the easiest access to the necessary parts.

6 garages in VD, 5 in FR

Go and see one or two with your car. Ask them.
The garages can easily handle the registration process for you, it's the conversion to Swiss standards that you need to enquire about.

We have a jeep, and we take ours to our normal garage, as for the language, if the people cannot speak English you could just try, and point this is what i did the first time i tried to talk to the garage man.

Goodluck, and hope you can sort your jeep out without any hiccups

I say go to a Jeep garage in the first instance, simply because
a) they know the vehicles intimately
b) they have the parts lists and price lists
c) they will be in a better position to advise what needs to be changed for CH-compliance

As for the language, a lot of people in CH speak English so you may be pleasantly surprised.

Re: Garage needed!

Inview of the fact Jeep is an american brand and in general Americans are not known form their language abilities (starting from the top of the tree down...) i would expect that most Jeep garages have a t least 1 person speaking English in order to deal with their dealer.

Re: Garage needed!

Thankyou, i have sorted the jeep, ended up going to a jeep dealer and he's going to do it for me, and yeah most of them spoke English, so it was no stress in the end!
Thanks for your help
