The ZVV app

With this app one can get a ticket in around 1 second. One does not even have to put a password in. Seems like it get into the wrong hands like people travelling habitually without a ticket. As soon as one sees the ticket controller with one click the valid ticket is done. Everything legal.

Re: The ZVV app

Legal? I thought one had to be in possession of a ticket before the journey started.
I imagine there is also something somewhere in there which shows when the ticket was actually purchased. Wouldn't try it myself. (Especially as I would probably press the screeen in the wrong place and delete it.)

Well yes you probably have to have a ticket before the journey. But its a handy app for that quicky in the tram or bus. And yes the time that you bought it shows.

So, if the time is shown, your initial worry of wrong hands etc. is not a problem right? especially if your ticket is checked while you are getting off or in the tram/bus/train itself.

Re: The ZVV app

The other week I forgot to purchase my ticket when I was on the train for the add on part of my journey (I have a ZVV Bonus pass but live 2 stops outside of the zone) and didn't do it until I had passed the station. I was told by the conductor that as I hadn't bought it before it left the station (first station of the add on section) then I was liable for a fine. She let me off this time but said the ticket does show as invalid on their system.

Re: The ZVV app

I'm trying to figure out the app myself (non German speaking person).

My question is this:

* I buy 6x 1day passes
-- So I can use a pass every day I go to work
* How do I "activate" one of the passes?
