Hey all


Is anybody familiar with requesting a residents parking permit, particularly in Neuchatel?


I requested a permit using this online form: http://www.securite-urbaine-ne.ch/index.php?id=4132 which I sent on the 24/02. I haven't heard anything back yet.


Seems to be taking a long time and I'm wondering if I sent the correct form, etc...

They have some funny rules here; did you check them?

For example, some places have a limited number of permits so you just get onto a waiting list.

Where I live I am not eligible for a resident permit because I am deemed to be outside the town centre.

Apartments at the other end of the same block I live in are eligible

To be honest I didn't check them.


I'm looking for a parking space outside my apartment, on blue zone. I live out of town.


On my street, there is a lot of blue parking and it's busy, but there's always a few spaces even at peak time.

It doesn't sound unusually long to me. It took a couple of weeks for my husband to get his when he applied for one.
