Roadside assistance outside Switzerland when driving car with foreign plates

Is there any insurance company providing roadside assistance outside Switzerland (Europe) when driving a car with foreign plates (i.e. when driving my friend's car in France - having French plates) ?

I contacted TCS & ACS, both covers cars with Swiss plates
only when outside Switzerland:
tcs.ch/fr/produits/depannage-et-accident/depannage-auto/

acs.ch/ch-fr/

Another relevant thread, but for Switzerland-only territory:

I can't answer your question but here's a quick FYI for any future readers of this thread. My OH had ACS coverage (and has Swiss plates). He had to get towed three times in the last two years (ACS advertises that with their coverage you are allowed three tows/year before you have to pay yourself). Last week we received a call to inform us that we are no longer eligible for the insurance because we used it too often... Moral of the story : it was great coverage until we got kicked out. :/ Sorry for going off-topic!
