I'm looking at buying a used motorbike from one of the authorized BMW Motorrad dealers and I have some questions

The bike's factory warranty has already elapsed but the dealer offers a short warranty after purchase and at extra cost, a factory warranty extension from Motorrad.

- should I get the TCS pre-purchase inspection, or does the warranty make it unnecessary?

- is a dealer under any legal obligation to ensure it passes the MFK / MOT test or to have the test done for me?

- as the dealer is in another canton, will there be a requirement for an MFK when it is brought to canton Zurich and registered here?
