colorful/unusual wheel covers - where to get

So I have this boring, silver C4 CitroŽn. Once it's parked I usually don't find it anymore as there are a few million cars that kind of look the same
Yes, it flashes it's lights when I push the button but as I got my attention everywhere ..... it doesn't flash long enough ....

However, I thought about stickers but decided they're naff.
Latest idea is spunky felly covers (the cheap kinds you just snap on).

I found one Swiss site but it's messy and not enough pictures. Plus, if I decide I want something I want it yesterday.

Anybody knows where I could get some funky ones (and offers a big variety)?

EF could knit you some?

Or buy bland ones, buy paint and start being creative?

Sorry, actually no idea where to buy those.

Re: colorful/unusual wheel covers - where to get

Take the wheel covers off, scratch up most of the paint on the wheels and wait a winter. They'll be unique, and they'll stand out.

Failing that - buy a Dutch car, they're pretty rare, so the chances of mistaking your Dutch car for someone else's are pretty low.

So it will be a Donkervoort, the only active Dutch car manufacturer.
Sure that will attract attention.

Re: colorful/unusual wheel covers - where to get

I think you might be looking for a car tuning center. In the olden days they sold dual carburettors, and exhaust systems.

Today they sell sticky paper, to add advertising on company vans & cars.

Wouldn't it be more sensible to change the colour of the car roof? It would be more visible to you when standing even a short
distance away than the hub caps. I think using the vinyl coloured sticky material would be quite cheap, but it is a skilled job to apply it!

Sadly DAF only builds trucks nowadays, but a Spyker or a Burton would also stand out.

Depending on Curley's height, changing the colour of the roof might not help - perhaps she want's to change hubcaps because they are at eye level for her?

Attaching something to the roof would be a good idea. A large stuffed (or inflatable) alligator, for example.

Yes! Very good. Changing the color is far too expensive (I need a cheap, effective, obvious to me yet non spectacular to others solution). I think I'll go for marking the roof somehow, thanks.

What's water transfers?

@ dodgyken was not awake yet but shoting quick as always. I made it pretty clear, why I wanted this.

@Jag, believe it or not, using the Dutch flag did cross my mind

Re: colorful/unusual wheel covers - where to get

Hey Curley!

You can get your car, wheels or any part plastidipped!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFYX_5cS1go

But i have no idea if you have to fill some papers with canton, state or any governmental body.

It's very cheap.

I don't know where you are but if you are near German border it's probably way cheaper there.

Re: colorful/unusual wheel covers - where to get

Cool! Not cheap though I guess.
However, I've already decided to go with Sbrinz' roof solution. It's perfect. Not too obvious to others yet perfectly serving my purpose.
Next thing is what I put there ....
