standard length and width of a parking place

I am asking the question. Is there a standard size that I can quote?
I am asking the question as I need to work out everyone's costs for snowploughing. I
could of course set about measuring but would like to refer to a "swiss standard"
thanks Annie

Re: standard length and width of a parking place

There is, but it isn't often adhered to.

Ours, for example, are smaller.

Re: standard length and width of a parking place

"According to French standard “Norme NF P 91-100”, minimum width of parking spaces range from 2.20 to 2.30 metres (7.2–7.5 ft) (See fr:Marquage du stationnement en France). Narrow parking spaces such as in Vevey, Switzerland might make opening the door difficult in a larger vehicle."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parking_space

Whether that applies in your case ...

Maybe check with your gemeinde admin office or if you have it the plans for when you bought/rented your property. Might be included on that.

Or check with the Automobile Club of Switzerland.

Which are then used for one car by one guy ...... while 8 female share one
Migros Rosenberg in Winterthur has parking spots that at least feel that size, as if only disabled people go shopping there. They do have special parking for them too - I'll have to check if they're even bigger.

The one in my garage is very narrow .... all depends on how much money people want to make with them. So OP, I would mesure a few, then take the average of those.
