Paperwork for Residents Parking in Zurich
 

I am collecting a new car this week and need to get a residents parking permit for it. The dealers have sent me copies of the registration documents but I will not have the originals until I collect the car. What do I need to take with me when I go to the Traffic Office in Zurich to get a permit and are copies enough?

You can do it online, so presumably you don't need the originals, but rather just the (correct) information.

You only need the number plate from the car, the "Halteridentifikation gemäss Fahrzeugausweis" and your private details:

That was a fake website that Roegner and I quickly set up. I'm just boarding the plane to Caracas with my half of the ill gotten gains in my carry on.
