Re: stickers on rear window

[QUOTE=Ace1;2813554]Reminds me of one sticker I've seen on a number of cars over the years, reading 'Slow Down Take It Easy'

When I was in my stress-job I had two of those: One inside my car (on the dashboard) and one in my bathroom.

I remember there was a fad for them in the UK in the 80s / early 90s but it seemed to die out. I've never seen them here.

The only thing close are the little caricatures of kids with their name underneath in the corners of the back window.
Yeah, come and gone in Europe long ago.

I had one on the bumper of my Austin 1300 - Don't honk, I'm peddling as fast as I can.

I always wanted to make a matching pair when I was in highschool. For the Jag, one which said "My other car is an Austin Marina", and for the Marina "My other car is a Jag".

As I was the only gearhead in the school who didn't drive American cars there wouldn't have been many who would have got the joke.

Re: stickers on rear window

Then there were those front windscreen stickers with DEREK and TRACY all finished off with nice fury dice hanging off the rear view mirror...

In the 80s, in the U.K, people with crappy cars used to to put "My other car's a Porsche" stickers in their back windows.

Yuppies being ironic and smug used to put "My other car's a Porsche" in their Porsches.

They're still available.

The one you see the most here is the fish. I call it the "an Jesus kommst Du nicht vorbei"-sticker because they all got the same tick: They speed up when you want to overtake them but go too slowly if you stay behind them.
This came standard on all my cars in the 90's/00's:
