Lerner permit and speed tickets

What are the consequences for a lerner who gets a speed ticket while practicing? Does that affect the exam in any way?

Re: Lerner permit and speed tickets

Depends on speed and situation, also it is important who will be held responsible, this can be you, this can be the "begleitperson" or it can be both.

Re: Lerner permit and speed tickets

If it is a small, normal one, whereby you are contacted via the vehicle registration and you pay the fine within 30 days, they have no way of knowing who was driving.

If the owner of the car denounces you to the authorities or you have a chunky fine whereby you have to declare who was driving, this will certainly affect your learner license.

Second that. Pay and drive more carfully in the future.

AFAIK the procedure is the same as for a regular license. See Serious Speeding - the law, the fines.

In the very worst your learners permit runs out while the ban is active and you can not do the practical exam. Means you woul have to start from scratch.
