A vignette can be transferred by careful use if a hair dryer to loosen the glue.
Not legally. Pick up that useful tip from a frontalier did you?

It’s 40chf a year for Christ’s sake. You can’t drive to Firenze or Lyon once on toll roads for that.

Yeah, that's pretty amazing considering the Post themselves set the postage of an A-letter on Fr. 1.00!!

At Fr. 9.00 postage, the 2021 vignette weighs between 2 and 10 kilos. I'm not sure I want to put that on my windscreen permanently.
You'd think they'd ship it in an envelope, but nope. It comes all by itself in a box. Not terribly eco-friendly, but I wonder if too many were being thrown out as junkmail by accident?

At that price the postman should personally replace it.
It'd be just my luck that my postman wouldn't bother ringing the bell and leave me a card directing me to pick up my parcel at the post office!

Coop pronto has them too. I saw them, no postage required.
Any manned petrol station will usually have them. The question was how to get one w/o going to a possible closed station.

I'm guessing a tiny blob smeared thinly across the vignette would be completely transparent. As for coming off in the heat, it has a melting point of between 40 and 70 degrees C (complex mix of hydrocarbons) so its unlikely to start dripping even on the warmest of days. And besides the vignette weighs next to nothing, if there was no glue it would static cling to the glass.

P.S I've not tried this so YMMV
On a warm sunny day the inside of an unventilated car will easily get up to 50°...

This is crazy!

<<but I wonder if too many were being thrown out as junkmail by accident?>> since when did the post become a nanny?! The Swiss system is still based on your order - you know your ordered - you expect - you receive. In short, common sense.

If I were on twitter, fb and all this stuff I'd start a rant.

Re: Swiss Autobahn Vignette (removal)

I just wanted to thank people here who shared their experiences and advice.
I managed successfully to take it out and I'm not someone patient.

it worked real good , you only have to insert it nicely and then slowly push it being careful not to go in different directions . Mine got cut a tiny bit in the center and once I re-sticked it nothing is visible

I used this one >> no hair dryer no alcohol ,nothing ..
