Pricing question for petrolheads

Help!

A friend needs to sell her husband's car as he no longer drives and she's rather lost. I was hoping someone could give me a ballpark figure for an old Peugeot?

Garage maintained, Peugeot Break 206 1.6l.
Bought new in 2005, 47,000k on the clock, which I understand is pretty low.
The car's in good condition, no obvious problems either mechanical or bodywork.

Thanks, A

I don't that someone would pay 4k though - unless it is really, really perfect with new mfk, service etc.

Thanks; she really just wants a rough idea of value.... she's had a few queries from neighbours but hasn't got a clue what to say.

As it's not a Mini I'm also in the dark!

The car may well be in that condition with such low miles.

Re: Pricing question for petrolheads

Personally, I would figure 3k, 3.5k with fresh MFK.

That sounds reasonable, she's knows it's not worth vast amounts but doesn't want to simply give the car away given the fact it's in good condition.
