Is there a "guarantee" of direct train links between two points stay from year to yea

Hi,

There used to be, for example, a direct train link between Koblenz AG and Winterthur until Dec 2018, not any more after timetable changes.

I was wondering whether there are any sort of a "guarantee" about which direct train links are to be kept through yearly timetable changes?

This can become important, since, among the criteria for some people to choose a location to reside is a direct train link for their daily commute.

Are there some interesting changes of this kind in the previous years you want to share?

No, no guarantee.

The timetable is revised annually. Typically, it brings considerable improvements for many people, but some lose their routes, connections or even train stops.

With a few corrections in June if some any of the changes prove to be problematic.
