Re: Tesla Model 3 Fan Boy Thread

It seems all the shorters, low-lifers, manipulators and pump-and-dumpers that previously had beset the Apple stock have now found an even "better" prey.
Lovely.

Re: Tesla Model 3 Fan Boy Thread

OK, did a short test drive today. Well yesterday technically.

It was kind of nice. But then, my own car is closing in on twenty years of service.
Probably even a Dacia Sandero would be somehow nice compared to it.

How do the white seats hold up over time?

I have black as there are many reports of the white "vegan leather" staining - even from blue jeans. The seats are cleanable and it looks great and costs extra - the choice is yours...

Re: Tesla Model 3 Fan Boy Thread

Well, unlike anything from AMB in that price-bracket, the list of options is really small, IMO.
FSD + tow bar + white seats. Larger wheels don't interest me.
That's like 8k on a 55k car.

Sales guy of course wants to sell a car now, rather than wait for Model Y to show up.
Rumor is, Model Y production is to start late this year.

One of the quirks that I found is that due to the speaker-system you can't remove the "lid" of the trunk to make space for extra large goods.

I have the white vegan leather seats in my Model S - had it about 9 months, no staining so far. I was assured that they actually held up much better than the previous seats in terms of staining.

We just had our first child a month ago, so I guess I will report back in a year or so and see how they hold up against a real test

Does the vegan leather combine well with plastic wood?

Haha, couldn't tell you - I went for the piano black finish on the interior

(Yes, it's not even a real piano, I've tried poking every surface and no noises at all)

I shorted Tesla sometime ago. One of the best investments I've done. I plan to short them again and it will likely be an even better investment.

Make sure you time it right though, limited upside and unlimited downside!

Actually, it is the opposite of that.

How so? If you short, the maximum you can make is the current price dropping to zero (so say $200 a share or whatever it is at the mo), the sky is the limit on what the price could rise to and leave you indebted for.

Re: Tesla Model 3 Fan Boy Thread

Sorry, my mistake. being short, you have limited downside gain (below the current stock level) and unlimited upside loss (above the current stock level).

There's at least one Fund Manager who believes that Tesla stock could reach 4000 USD.

Personally, I'd say that unless they found an UFO and cannibalized it for its anti-gravitation technology, that's not going to happen.

You are running under the assumption that Elon isn't actually an alien...that one's 50/50 for me.

Could happen in my opinion too.

However, TSLA could also go bankrupt.

Earnings-report didn't go down too well.

Looks like it's down 11% pre-market

Would you ever buy a M3 without a box living in Geneva?

I'm facing this choice now, i need to change the car and i don't really know if i can shift to an EV or i have to stick with a gas one.
