In regards to the 6 months suspension, there was not any indication about final or not:
"La dureede l'interdiction est fixee 18.01.2019 au 17.07.2019, dates incluses.
I find that surprising as AFAIK the suspension depends on the ruling (Strafbefehl or court ruling, where applicable). Your license is a foreign one, isnt' it?

The driving ban is final if they did not object against the ban. Criminal punishment and administrative measure are independent of each other.
AFAIK the suspension depends on the verdict, that's why the sequence is usually the other way round.

Although the driving license authority is tightly bound by findings of the criminal procedure and verdict. See
BGER 1C_345/2012 http://www.polyreg.ch/d/informatione...345__2012.html
they are two independent procedures. In clear and shut cases the driving authority will issue a ban before the criminal procedure end and comes to a verdict.

The driver can still object to the ban and refer to the pending criminal case. This might delay the ban and in the best it might even lower the duration of the ban. But there is also the risk that during the criminal procedure circumstances are found which would mandate a longer ban then originally issued.
