I said parkings can be found in that website with fares as low as 4.- CHF, of which you made fun. Did I say anywhere that those 4 CHF parkings are in downtown Geneva?

Re: Long term parking in Geneva before receiving macaron

Try reading the first post, the OP is looking for parking in GENEVA !!!!!

You can easily find free parking outside big cities in the middle of nowhere but we're not interested in this, it is parking in Geneva that is the topic.

OP himself can clarify, of course.

Ideally central in/close to Geneva yes, albeit not being aware of free spots close to the city center (apart from the mentioned lane on the semi highway next to the lake towards Lausanne mentioned in an earlier post - and which seems a bit tricky to leave after parking the car )

Chambésy station is only a couple of minutes walk away and has trains every 15 minutes on weekdays. Thins out over the weekend, particularly Sundays.

Re: Long term parking in Geneva before receiving macaron

I left my car parked opposite Rolex in Plan les Ouates once over a weekend in a white parking spot. Sadly I found some scratches on it when I went to pick it up. However since I had rented it in France it had French license plates so maybe it was anti-frontalier vandalism. Also it could have been accidental.
