worth importing a LHD car thats < 6 months

I'm starting a job and want to take a load of stuff over with a LHD car thats less than 6 months ownership. I'll look for a good LHD car to take over.

I'd like to just declare it and then either take it back before the year is out, or import it if its necessary for me.

Are the car costs in Switzerland worth the cost of importing a good car from the Uk with the duty and vat, and is duty still applied if I'm coming from an EU country? Does the duty get refunded if i dont import with Vat?

Or is it just better to buy a used car when i get there?
