Alternative to AMAG for Car Repairs in Zurich?

I've been returning to the main dealer (AMAG) for repairs on my (out of warranty) Seat car. The main reason is convenience and because I can get by with limited German, despite it being relatively expensive.

Over the past year, the frequency of the repairs required and the magnitude of the bills means I need an alternative approach! I've spent thousands.

Any suggestions? A good local mechanic? Over the border?

I can really recommend these guys:

http://autoecker.ch/

Fixed my girlfriends Skoda multiple times, lots cheaper than the dealer.
They take all brands.

It you pay so much money on repairs (not maintenance), you could also consider to change the car.

Went to AMAG in Lorett de Mar, Spain and paid half what AMAG Biel estimated and had a great holiday
