Vaud appears to have caught up, opening centres in Nyon and Aigle has certainly helped! I do recall that before they opened going well over 5 years ...

In any case, don't worry about it. It's a case of "don't call us, we'll call you".

Yep, and it's the one time we love that. :D

Now Im wondering the other scenario, where you have put something in the car that comes with an homologation... in theory we should do a new MFK...

What would happen on this case? Should we drive indefinetly with the homologation papers of the parts that we put to the car until they call us? or we need to make an appointment and keep waiting? :D

As long as the homologation is one that allows you to drive without going to the MFK (e.g. new rims and tyres for winter), you can drive as long as you like until the MFK. However must be properly recorded before you do the MFK in theory...but in practise you can make one appointment for both (btdt). You do need to state this when you make the appointment. You can't just turn up for a regular MFK appointment with your new winter wheels or they will fail you.

Put the original equipment back on before the MFK then no problem.

One visit rather than two.
