Re: Suggest a new car to me

this is the only reason I bought the audi, its the 1.8 and gets 5l per 100km, which is better then a 1.6 focus! but I under estimated just how hated audi drivers are

now if there is another car out there with an interior anywhere near as nice as that I'd be on it in a flash.

all the other cars I looked at where just a mess inside, screens and buttons everywhere as everything was an add on extra or just designed by an idiot.

A wrap is an idea but not really sure it would solve the issue

But wrapping is so ugly. I'd rather get another car than waste money on a big sticker.

Re: Suggest a new car to me

What is your budget? There's quite a difference between let's say a top of the range A3 and an equivalent A8

If you want a "nice" interior then do you mean luxury level (Audi, Merc, Range Rover, Jag) or are you OK with a top ov the range WV cabin? Do you want a fridge in the cabin and massage in the seats? Or some shiny cup holders will do?

In terms of color, if you buy new some brands (Audi) you can choose any color you want. A bright red or orange would be the most visible and not bad choices. Basically any choice of black, white, silver or gray makes you invisible. That's why everyone buys them...

Have a look at Infinity?

Or just repaint your car and be happy

I totlly get you on the interior, had a look at one myself this year. Not nicer but quite good and full of toys is the new CLA. Economical cars as well...

I want luxury level interior in a small economical car lol. I looked at polo's, golf's, fiesta's etc etc before the TT and you couldn't get a small engine with the nice interior, although I see ford have finally done ST line versions of the focus and fiesta but the cabins are still a bit of a mess and look cheap.

Re: Suggest a new car to me

Luxury interior and "small economical" don't quite go together. I agree it's stupid but that is society today.

The Merc A class?

Otherwise why not a new TT?

Re: Suggest a new car to me

Surelly it has to be an Audi no? after having an A3 i felt like i was ruined a little when i came to sell it. Nothing seemed up to Audi quality. I ended up going for a fully speccd Q2. I wanted an SUV so it ticks all my boxes. what kind of car are you after? SUV?you say small but do you mean coupe small or city car small?

Why not go and look at the new A1? dont get an A3 as there is a new version coming out around Feb next year, due to be release soon at Frankfurt motor show.

Its the range that's the issue, Tesla's are the only ones that (on paper) would be able to handle my commute, do they do a bentley < 2l?
Unless you are commuting more than 200kms IN EACH DIRECTION daily and you can’t charge at work, range is not a problem. Try a taste of the future with a surge of performance that will make you smile every time you floor it - test a Tesla model 3 performance (4wd and 0-100 kms 2.3 secs, minimal service costs, equiv of 1ltr/100kms etc etc.) Try one you‘ll buy one...

Re: Suggest a new car to me

On average 400 petrol cars burn and explode every day world-wide. They don‘t make news and a single Tesla does because the oil companies, car companies and all the billions per day turned over in this dinosaur-based industry are scared shitless by EVs closing their gold mine....

While I have seen several burn over the years, I have yet to see one explode (except in movies).

Petrol cars don't explode except in Hollywood movies, they just burn. Had to prep a car for over 2 hours to make it explode in Geneva.
