Less HP than our '98 Panda 4x4!

Tom
Yup. Slower acceleration, too, probably. And it costs around 15 times as much. But it uses a fraction of the fuel of your Panda, probably has way more torque, and looks 57 times cooler.

Re: Suggest a new car to me

I think you like flashy cars, but this one:
https://www.kia.ch/modelluebersicht/proceed/
has all you need, including an appalling name (come on, since when tt or mustang was a nice name for a car?)

Or go just some miles more to east,

By the time you make your choice the cars will all be replaced with facelift or new models anyway.

That would be too cool. Keep in mind that it would replace an Audi TT.

Have a look at the JAGUAR I-PACE, ~600KM range

https://www.jaguar.com/jaguar-range/i-pace/index.html

Nice looking interior

No, it doesn't.

I has the worst range of all (Tesla, EQC, Gtron).

this is the only reason I bought the audi, its the 1.8 and gets 5l per 100km, which is better then a 1.6 focus! but I under estimated just how hated audi drivers are

now if there is another car out there with an interior anywhere near as nice as that I'd be on it in a flash.

all the other cars I looked at where just a mess inside, screens and buttons everywhere as everything was an add on extra or just designed by an idiot.

A wrap is an idea but not really sure it would solve the issue

E Class 220D with acoustic package (though hard to find used).

Re: Suggest a new car to me

Of course, for a car to absolutely never be missed, I'd suggest the Mercedes G500 4x42, in the glorious "Electric Beam Yellow" color.

https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/veh...class-squared/

As a bonus, you can chat with bus-drivers and truck drivers while you wait at traffic lights.

Pity the VW Polo or Open Corsa driver who overlooks this.

The only problem might be getting the fuel consumption to sane levels.
Can't have it all.

After my car has been hit for the 3rd time in less then a year it may be time to look around for something more visible!!
I recommend a bright orange PEBL.

Re: Suggest a new car to me

Hiring a car in Germany recently, I was lucky enough to be upgraded from what I'd booked (standard hatch-back) to a Ford Focus ST Line, very new (about 4000 km on the clock).
1.5L engine, sports suspension, all the bells and whistles (including rain-detecting windscreen wipers!).
Even tearing around the Autobahn at top speed, we got just over 8l/100km - more "regular" driving should drop that, a lot. Everyone knows rental cars accelerate faster and have worse mileage than cars you own yourself ...

But it has a heads up display and
Harman Kardon sound with 15 loud speakers.
Stuff that really matters!
