Audi replacement rear light

I stupidly reversed into something sharp this morning and bust the plastic on my passenger side rear light. This is the first time Iíve had to try to deal with something like this since moving here - what are my options for finding a replacement in Switzerland in a hurry without having to resort to going to a no doubt very expensive dealership? Iím in Vaud at the moment. Thanks.

Maybe this works. As part comes from United Kingdom it would be drivers side but better ask before ordering if interested.

Re: Audi replacement rear light

eBay is prob the best bet.. but you should do some research to see if your new light can be just replaced or it needs coding to the car. Most parts now need coding, even simple things like light clusters. Think it will depend if you have LEDs or just halogen lights.

Re: Audi replacement rear light

Is it just the plastic cover? Ie are all the lights/bulbs ok? If so it should be cheap and easy to replace, as already suggested ebay is a good source but remember duty could apply if it comes from Germany, the UK etc. You can try AMAG, ie the Audi monopoly in Switzerland for the spare part and have a go yourself which might not be too pricey.

You'll find tutorial videos on youtube, just search for your car's model as someone's probably filmed it and you're unlikely to need any specialist tools.

Re: Audi replacement rear light

Not sure about that. The indicator lights on most Audis remain in pristine condition for the lifetime of the car.
