It's a nice money saver in the long run if you switch the wheels yourself twice a year. Also I like it that I don't have to wait if I need new tyres, just drop of the wheels and pick them up some days later.

As for winter tyres, due to Corona I drive about 10KM a week, so no hurry with summer tyres..

The rule of thumb here indeed seems to be "O bis O" but I took the liberty to had the summer wheels fitted two weeks ago. Makes little sense to drive around on winters in these temperatures (tire wear).

Had both carsí tyres/tires changed today. That shop (mentioned above), which specialises in this, had remodelled their reception/cashier area to include a plexiglass screen and everyone was wearing masks (some very poorly).

The tyres already on wheels took about 15-20 minutes and cost f73, while the ones that needed remounting took 30 minutes and cost f114. A difference of f41.

Iím expecting snow at the weekend.
