You just qualified for public transport imho.

Even if you know your area, signs can change and you should still pay attention. We've lived in the same village for 10 years. Recently one of the roads as you leave the village has dropped the limit from 80 to 60. That would be a decent fine, all saved by just paying attention.

Our GPS system hasn't yet implemented this change and still reflects a limit of 80.
