English A1 Motorcycle Grundkurs in Zurich - Preferably Private

Been lurking around for a year. I have searched the forums and any posts related to this topic are years old. Thanks to aSwissintheUS' great license thread, my wife and I have both secured our Swiss licenses plus an A1 motorcyle learner's permit.

We are exploring buying 1 or 2 Vespas for fun. Neither of us has much German but we're trying. I'm curious if anyone knows of an A1 instructor who might offer a private set of lessons. My understanding is that the A1 grundkurs has to be taken over 2 days. Obviously we are also seeking someone who might be able to do the lessons in English. Alternatively, if someone is familiar with an instructor who might offer classes for groups that won't be too frustrated with questions in English, that would be great as well.

We've never had scooters or motorcycles before and my wife does not want to combine language barriers with a nervewracking new experience.

Thanks in advance.

My mrs and I have done our courses with Fahrschule Florin.

Both teachers speak English, although Joy does a lot better.

An A1 should be able to just about use the motorway. What did they have you on?

I think she/he is talking about thge catogory on the driving license.
People which have a European AM, or did the category B before 2003 will get the Swiss A1 (45 km/h) license.

With A1 (45 km/h) you are allowed to ride 50ccm motorcycles restricted to 45 km/h.

Full A1 allows up to 125 ccm, 11 kW, and no speed restrictions (apart those of the road itself).

To ride on the Autobahn you need a motorcycle with at least 125 ccm. 50 ccm are not allowed on the Swiss autobahn even if it could go 80 km/h or more.
