scrapping an imported car

Hi, I have an old (2002) UK registered car that I arrived in CH in, for which I have the import 13.20 form ,as it was part of my household effects. So far so good. However, the car does not work and is beyond economical repair. I want to scrap it or dispose of it for parts. Do I need a Carte gris for the car first, and if so, can I get a carte gris without passing the MFK? (it will not pass an inspection) I seem to be in a catch 22: can't scrap without Carte Gris, can't get Carte Gris without MFK, can't get MFK because it is scrap..... Any advice appreciated.
