Riding to Konstanz with scooter - advise

Hello hello,

New to this forum which I have found extremely useful.

I am planning to go to Konstanz by Vespa 300cc next weekend if sunny. I have gone before by train but I fancy the adventure by scooter now. I wonder if anyone has any advise on:

- Where to park it when in Germany, I don't have a lock as it is not needed here in CH so I would be looking for a secure parking

- The road to take; worth going through the highway or are the side roads nice enough?

- Any other tip very welcome!

Thanks in advance

Park anywhere, just make sure that it is not a no parking area and if you park on the pavement make sure that there is enough room for a pram or a wheelchair to easily pass, other than that nobody will carp too much.
Get a chain and lock, don´t just plonk it there and finally go on the side roads, the Autobahn will bore your pants off.
