I already have the B auto license so I didn't take the theory test , I understood that they give you another year added to learn so you can take the practical test
Do I have to do a practical test for A1 or not in this year that they gave me, thank you

As you already have B all you have to do is to send in the learners permit with the Grundkurs stamp and your current license to get A1 added to it.

Age is not relevant. As long as you have B or B1 you get A1 with the mandatory basic training only w/o a practical exam. (Do not know anyone who has B1 alone).

One can even do the mandatory basic training first and then do the B exam afterwards.

Before that date anyone wich wanted to get A1 had to pass the practical exam. Back in that days to get A you needed to have A1 for at least two years. The mandatory basic training was introduced 1991. (Disclaimer: Before 1976 other rules applied)

April 1st 2003 is the date when the system changed from A1 / A to A1 / A (25 kW)/ A and was also when the blue paper permit was replaced with the credit card sized version. All those who have A1 on the blue paper license will get A (35 kW) on the credit card license.
