Crack in windscreen in drivers view. Repairable?
My car got struck my a sizeable piece of gravel on the motorway a couple of weeks ago and windscreen now has a 2 inch crack in the drivers field of view. My instinct is to change the windscreen, and with that in mind I have a date with a garage in a couple of weeks time. I have a CHF 1000 glass excess on my car insurance. Is it technically repairable? Any ideas on the likely cost difference?
