a breakers yard?

I'm looking for a certain colour of car seat for a Peugeot 206. It's an old car, probably from around 2005, so there should be lots of these things in breakers yards or whatever you'd call them here.

Does anyone know of any near Zurich, and what exactly is the german name for one of these places?

Schrottplatz - Autoschrottplatz. The Swiss seem to prefer calling it "Autoverwertung"

A quick search found one in Aargau and this one in Rickenbach.
There are more, you just google. And also once you visit one they could tell you about others.

You might try ebay - auction or classifieds. I had to go to Luxembourg to get my bonnet and it wasn't even the right color. It was that or Munich.
I don't suppose there'll be many 206's just lying around but good luck with the search.

Look for AutoAbbruch as well.

IMHO your focus should be on something like "Auto OccasionsTeile" and "Occasions-ErsatzTeile" as that's what you'll buy.

Re: a breakers yard?

Not in Zurich, but if you need to cast a wider net - there's a decent yard in Kussnacht, right by the motorway and the Lidl/Aldi complex. Another good one on the same road as the Hornbach in Luzern-Littau, heading towards Malters.

Also worth scanning ricardo.ch and tutti.ch - car parts frequently come up for sale.
