I had one bad experience with AMAG in Horgen ca. 2005 and since then never ever went back to them.

I'm shopping around for a car now so if you have recommendations for AMAG garages with good service around Zurich?
You don't necessarily have to buy in Zurich. I wanted to lease a new Audi in 2017, it turned out the best deal I got was from AMAG St-Lťgier... I signed the contract there but brought the car to Basel and since then I service it in Basel.

Not sure what happened in Horgen in 2005 but it was 15 years ago.

Re: AMAG free service - not so free

Thatís why I am keeping my 2008 Saab forever. Costs almost nothing to maintain, but then I donít drive it much. Watch Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear, his Saab programme is on YouTube. Admittedly it costs more to tax, insure and park than it is worth, but so what.

Interesting, I also had bad experiences in AMAG, Horgen. They told me brakes needed replacing when they didnít as advised by other dealers and it wasnít even close and hub caps went missing on wheel changes only to turn up later elsewhere in the car.
