Ferry from Dover to Calais w/o car

So my parents would like to visit me here, but despite both being fully vaccinated they're both quite anxious about COVID and recycled air on airplanes.

Next option would be the Eurotunnel but that would also recycle the air somewhat. Anyway, the only method my parents can agree on is the ferry. However, when I look to book on these websites it offers no journeys for foot passengers. Add a car into the mix and the prices pop up instantly. I've tried different days but I get nothing.

Has anyone been over as a foot passenger recently?
