And at least in BS, they ride it *hard* around the lot. Rolling on the throttle quick, doing sharp weaves and turns (checking suspension) and then some hard braking.
Same in ZH - they're looking for anything odd

Re: Motorbike Expertise - what to expect?

Guys,

I have a 3-year old BMW bike which is being imported in the relocation process, with aftermarket crash bars from a German manufacturer with TUV but no Swiss certificate ... Do I need to take them off for the MFK?

Canton Zug Strassenverkerhamt is where I need to do the test.

Thanks!

Re: Motorbike Expertise - what to expect?

I've never experienced any issues with crash bars and the MFK, nor have I heard of anyone else having any problems.

I know that this is different than importation, but I would be surprised if something as benign as crash bars are an issue.
